We use "du" and "du-de" for unit 1, "du-da-di" is added in Unit 2, and "du-di" is the new material in Unit 3. Unit 4 is actually taught at the same time as the first three units because it is melodic - "do, re, mi" instead of the rhythm of units 1-3, so it does not get in the way of our rhythm learning to do them at the same time!
